The Wellness blood screening has been sponsored by the Titusville Lions Club since 1992. Testing results cover anemia, diabetes, coronary, liver and kidney diseases, as well as other critical factors affecting one’s health. A broad spectrum of testing for a nominal cost has been ideal for senior citizens, those without insurance and the underinsured.
Optional tests are at an additional cost and require a physician’s order. Spaces are available by calling AMBA, toll free, at 1-800-234-8888, from 8:30 a.m.Wellness Program Annual Blood Analysis. Check or money order only will be accepted the day of the program and should be made. Payable to AMBA Wellness Programs and.To 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. All results are confidential. Callers must have their doctor’s name and address to schedule a time for this event. In order to assure accurate results, a fast for 13 hours prior to having blood samples drawn is required.
Participants are reminded they must bring two checks at the time of service, one for AMBA and the other payable to the Titusville Lions Club. This change was a result of the HIPPA regulations which prohibit AMBA from accepting payment for the sponsoring organization.

Please provide the name and address of your physician at the time of the call.The tests require a fast of 12 hours, so the Lions also cook and serve breakfast for folks to enjoy after the tests. The breakfast features pancakes, eggs and sausage and is available for an additional cost.The breakfast is open to the public, and one does not have to take the tests in order to purchase breakfast.
Proceeds from the breakfast are used to support the many projects of the Canton Lions Club, and this public support allows the Lions to maintain these important community programs.
